Getting Started with PlagiarismKnight

1. Prepare Your Documents

Before beginning, ensure you have your document in .docx format and reference materials in .pdf format ready for upload.

2. Upload Reference Materials

Upload your reference PDFs using either drag and drop or by clicking upload references button and selecting it. While there's no strict limit, we recommend using up to 200 reference documents for optimal performance. You'll see the filename appear reference preview area when successfully uploaded.

Uploading more than 15 references enables our algorithm to operate dynamically — learning from each additional document and improving its ability to detect even short-phrase similarities.

3. Select Your Document

Drag and drop your .docx file into the designated area or clicking select document and selecting it. You'll see the filename appear in document preview area when successfully selected.

4. Run the Plagiarism Check

Click the "Check Plagiarism" button and wait while the algorithm analyzes your document against the reference materials. Processing time varies based on document size and number of references.

5. Review Results

View overall and per-document similarity percentages, along with highlighted text matches. Hover over any highlight to see which reference file it matches.

6. Take Action

Review each highlighted section to decide whether revisions are needed. Make the necessary changes to ensure the content is original. Once edits are complete, you can re-run the check to confirm that the improvements have reduced or eliminated any similarity.
